The chassis is an evolution from the AF1 Project 108: a beautiful diagonal twin spar frame of aluminum is much stiffer and lighter than the old frame of the AF1 Project 108. The front fork upside smaller - 38mm and completely new and is not adjustable. The rear swingarm made of steel and houses a progressive rear suspension (Sebach, not adjustable).

The brakes at the front is now a very beautiful floating 320mm disc (the first case among 125 cc) and with a caliper (Brembo), four pistons; at the rear is a 240mm disc with twin piston caliper, similar to the previous AF1. The beautiful new 17 "wheels, Pirelli tires host the new MT 79 respectively in sizes 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear.

The wet weight down to 131kg, compared with 134kg on AF1 Replica.


The engine is the new Rotax 123, designed from scratch and replaces its predecessor, the Rotax 127. Here are the key innovations compared to the engine mounted on AF1 Replica:

New aluminum cylinder barrel treated with Gilnisil (iron rod on AF1)
New head into two pieces to improve the cooling
Stroke increased by 0.5 mm (from 54 x 54 to 54 x 54,5
Compression dropped to 15:1 compression (from 15,5:1)
Balancer (absent on the Rotax 127)
Valves RAVE 2, neumatic
Carburetor Dell'Orto PHBH 28 RD oval section
Air Box with dynamic air intake mounted on the right side of the bike.

With the changes, the engine delivers maximum power to the rear wheel of 28.66ph at 10,500 rpm, slightly down from the Rotax 127 of the AF1 Replica (29.24 hp at 10250 rpm), but delivering substantially more low and medium revs.
