One way to make a sport bike better is to make it lighter. That's what Kawasaki did with the Ninja 600RX Limited Edition. It's essentially a Ninja 600R with an aluminum alloy frame that saves 16.5 pounds and has less rake, reducing the wheelbase by 0.5 inches and quickening the steering. Only 1000 of the 600RX machines will be made for sale in the U.S., with a distinctive black paint scheme setting them apart from the standard-model Ninja 600. It shares with the 600 the same 598cc, four-cylinder engine that made the Ninja a force to be reckoned with in 600cc-class road racing.
