AC Schnitzer offers the exclusivity to excite almost every BMW rider - as the Special Edition by AC Schnitzer for the R 1150 GS emphatically proves.

First the AC Schnitzer engineers replaced the standard tyres by a V-Performance wheelset in sizes 3.5" front and 6.0" rear, fitted with tyres size 120/70-17 front and 190/50-17 on the rear. As an option, there is also a 5-spoke compound wheelset known as Evolution or a Colour-Line wheelset for the R 1150 GS.

The acoustics are emphasised for the driver by the new AC Schnitzer Remus Revolution silencer, which with its motorsport origins further underlines the sporting lines of the R 1150 GS. Experience, Motorsport, Evolution - three words which have driven the Remus engineers to design a silencer characteristic of ABE EG, which from its styling reveals its provenance in motorsport-derived knowledge.

The Remus Revolution is distinctive not only in its sound, its sporting design and excellent quality, but thanks to its dual system - a new development by REMUS and used in showroom class motorsport - it offers an extra performance gain over the entire rev range. In addition, using this exclusive silencer gives the rider a weight advantage over the standard component as depending on version, the Remus Revolution weighs only around 2.5 kg. The front silencer is available with or without catalyst. In addition, a sports link pipe without catalyst and without front silencer is available, which is road-legal in combination with a special Remus Revolution silencer. So you're spoilt for choice. And the REMUS comes with an outer casing of aluminium, titanium or carbon fibre.

The R 1150 GS is given a more sporting appearance by the 17" mudguard exclusive to AC Schnitzer Motorrad-Technik.
