MuZ or MZ is located in Zschopau,
Germany.
By 1929, MZ was producing 60,000 motorcycles to become the largest motorcycle
manufacturer in the world.
In 1970, the Number One Million motorcycle rolls off the conveyor belt.
In 1990, MZ is privatised but by 1993 MuZ has gone bankrupt. The MuZ company is
formed from the leftovers.
Malaysian Corporation "Hong Leong" buys MuZ in 1996.
Finally, in 1999, the "u" is dropped from the name MuZ.
