AC Schnitzer R 1200RT and R1200ST
In the R 1200 ST, the ST could well stand for Sport and in the R 1200 RT, the RT could mean Touring - both machines however are fully at home in both situations. The AC Schnitzer engineers have given the ST more sound, a modified seating position and exclusive covers for the link journals with the AC Schnitzer Logo. The RT enjoys the sound of the AC Schnitzer Revolution silencer. The V-Performance rims in size 5.5 x 17“ and 3.5 x 17“ have been adapted for both.
Both the R 1200 ST and the R 1200 RT in AC Schnitzer guise are fitted with
Revolution silencers with a removable DB killer. The interplay of the boxer
engine with the Revolution silencer gives a deeper note. Two variants are
available for the R 1200 ST: one following the standard shape for use with
luggage, and a raised version for the more sporting driver. The systems can
be fitted with a manifold without catalyst.
