CF Moto 1250TR-G
This 1250TR-G which comes loaded with electronics and touring options was unveiled at the 2020 CIMA show in China. KTM announced a strategic partnership with China’s CFMoto where KTM would be supplying engines for a host of new CFMoto models. The bike, which appeared in police form earlier this year, uses a new version of the 1279 cc KTM’s LC8 V-twin engine with a peak power of 105kW/140hp @ 8500rpm and 120Nm of torque @ 7000rpm, which makes it the most powerful production motorcycle yet to emerge from China. The brakes are radial-mounted Brembos, while the suspension comes from KTM’s sister company WP. It has a six-speed transmission, a slipper clutch and chain final drive. The 1250TR-G has a fuel capacity of 22.7 litres and a kerb weight of 300kg.
There’s a built-in stereo system from JBL, and a massive Bluetooth-connected 12.3” infotainment display which also gives access to the bike’s setup including multiple riding modes, suspension settings and tyre pressure readouts. It also has handlebar and seat heating function and an electronically-adjustable windscreen which were designed to greatly improve the riding comfort, and has LED lighting throughout. This grand tourer full bodywork, hard luggage, a huge cushioned and back-rested pillion, a comfortable upright riding position.
