Sanglas was a Spanish producer for motorcycles. They built motorcycles for the Spanish police and for the Irish army.

The Sanglas 400 Y came into production in 1978.  The "Y" refers to the fact that it was fitted with a Yamaha engine.  When production was finally ceasedin 1982, Sanglas as an entity also ceased to exist.
