Ducati 1199 Panigale by Ortolani

Based on a concept drawing made by automotive designer Holographic Hammer, this Ducati 1199 Panigale was customized by Olivier Ortolani, the owner of French motorcycle shop Ortolani Customs located in St Andre de la Roche, outside of Nice, France.

The Panigale got stripped of its original bodywork to leave place for hand-modeled custom aluminum panels that were shaped, smoothed and polished to a mirror-finish.

The small shiny gas tank, made as a seamless piece, carries both fuel and houses the airbox, fuel pump, and most of the electronics, with the rest being tucked away in that sleek wasp-like tail which comes complete with an integrated brake light and a supple brown leather saddle made by NMB designs.

The engine itself got cool anodized covers to match the Ohlins USD forks and gets perfectly matched with the contrasting blued titanium exhaust. Its internals also got modified with a set of larger pistons which pushed the power up from 195 to 210 horsepower.

Ortolani also created a nice belly pan for the lower part for the bike, with a custom radiator sticking at one end and the double Akrapovic at the other.

A set of 330 mm carbon-ceramic disc brakes from a Desmosedici racebike were fitted, which makes the Racer a track-only special, as it would be very difficult to get the carbon-ceramic discs up to working temperature on the street. The stock wheels got swapped with OZ forged rims wrapped in Michelin tires.
