To build the Elite II, the Dutch builders of
Moto Puro took a Ducati 1199 Panigale S, and stripped the machine down to its Superquadro
engine and electrical components. From there, Dutchmen built a café racer style
motorcycle, complete with tubeless wire-laced wheels on single-sided swingarm.
The Elite II
still uses the monocoque front frame for the airbox and headstock, but Moto
Puro has built its own trellis subframe for the rear seat. A hand-built aluminum
fuel tank, a handlebar instead of clip-ons, and a custom exhaust from QD
complete the café look.
Any corrections or more information on these motorcycles will be kindly appreciated.
