Ducati Monster MS4R By Paolo Tesio

.

This whole project started with an 1993 Ducati S4R and despite the appearance of the customized bike, there are far less modifications made to the original machine than you'd think. In fact, Tesio's modding relied on as few structural modifications as possible, being entirely created as a 3D computer model prior to the actual customization started.

The rear sub-frame is the only specially-designed element. It had to accommodate the new cast tail and still be easy to install in the existing mounts. Using CNC machining and resin, Tesio created the molds for the new fuel tank and the very aggressive fork protectors. These fork covers fit easily on the forks with no other modification whatsoever.

Smaller instruments and headlight have also been installed to keep the profile of the bike compact, while the dual silencers were replaced by a racing-style underbelly muffler which also stresses the clean design of the machine. A custom clutch cover and a side-mounted steering damper have been added, with a racing-themed paint job.
