Honda 650 Muxima by Ton-Up Garage

.

MMuxima is build by Portugal’s Ton-Up Garage. It was built on a Honda 650. Muxima is a name of a village in Angola and it means “heart” in Kimbundu. The goal was to build a bike for their client that lives in Angola and that could reflect the spirit of the riding experience on the roads of Muxima and especially towards Quiçama National Park.

The colors were chosen inspired by the nature surrounding those roads. They’re mainly dirt roads surrounded by an imense vegetation meaning that you’ll get an off-road riding experience.Alex (bike owner) races in Angola enduro and supermotard races and he wanted a custom motorcycle not only to ride and travel on those Muxima dirt roads, but also as a daily commuter in the Angola city where he lives and works.

The subframe was completely reworked, capping it off with an integrated tail light and license plate holder. The wiring’s been simplified, and is tucked away in a neat box under the custom-made seat.

An old Honda tank was adapted.  The upside-down forks were lowered slightly and has Continental TKC80s 17" tyres.

Ton-Up also made a new front mudguard, and rear passenger peg mounts. The bike is further equipped with Renthal bars, Biltwell Inc. grips, a Motogadget speedo and a new headlight with a protective grill.
