Honda Africa Four CRF1000R by Brivemo Motos

.

Brivemo Motos, the official Honda dealer in Switzerland, based in Zofingen, and are also specialists in the upkeep and restorations of classic Japanese motorcycles.

They took a CB1000R and created a scrambler called the Africa Four CRF1000R.

By adapting the suspension unit from a Honda CRF450R, they created a completely new front end which increased the wheelbase, and at the rear they kept the CB1000R's swingarm.

A large single disc brake was fitted with an anodised 4-piston caliper, painted in red.  The 17" wheels were kept standard, but is shod with Continental TKC 80 knobbly tyres.

Honda Africa Four was fitted with a 4-into-1 exhaust with a short carbon fibre silencer.

Other changes made are:  a single-seat, a projector v shaped headlights,  a new front mudguard and new wider aluminium handlebars.  It also gets an engine protection guard, a short license plate holder, toothed footpegs, minimalist LED indicators, electronic throttle and traction control, with four unique riding modes, the ABS was removed in order to lose weight, and comes in at 200kg.  The CB1000R enigine is kept standard, and produces 145 horsepower.

The Honda Africa Four comes with the Africa Twin Adventure Sport tricolours.
