Kawasaki Zephyr 400 "Urabe" by Bagus Motorcycles

The "Urabe", a Kawasaki Zephyr 400, is a race ready beautiful and bizarre custom project which was build by the Japanese customhouse specialists Bagus.

 

Little is known about the modifications done to the engine, but it surely is done with the purpose to improve its performance on the track as much as possible.

 

It has a Keihin FCR 33mm carburettors, a titanium Striker exhaust, in addition to a new oil radiator helping to increase airflow.   Numerous carbon were used to protect the vital elements of the engine.

 

Reinforcements were done to the chassis to prevent the cradle from twisting.  New Öhlins suspension at the front and rear were fitted, and also in addition to the new calipers, discs and Brembo pumps are used for better braking.  A set of Marchesini wheels are used, and the standard tank was left but the seat is now changed to a single seater.
