Moto Guzzi MGR 1200 by Radical Guzzi
Cologne, October 9th, 2016 – at the second sprint event on the shortened 1/8 mile, held during Intermot on Cologne fair ground, Moto Guzzi pilot Josef Leitl has shown nerves of steel. Just behind the fast supercharged factory Triumph “Lightning Sepp” achieved two times second place which took the Radical Guzzi built up Moto Guzzi MGR 1200 also in second position of the final manufacturer standings. At once the sympathetic Bavarian ensured first place in rider standings of the two Essenza sprints held at Glemseck and Cologne. Moto Guzzi MGRs 1200 superior victory at the Essenza Public Design Competition became the crowning glory of the day for customizer Stefan Bronold and the whole team of Radical Guzzi as well as for designer Kay Riemann of Himora who have been responsible for the MGR1200 project supported by the Piaggio Group.
