Yamaha XT 600 Scrambler by Freeride Motos
This 1990 600 XT has undergone a transformation. The bike was fitted with Honda CBR 600 Showa forks. To accommodate the KTM 350 SXF's White Power shock, a Gas Gas 450 swingingarm was modified. The XT was fitted with a Honda XR 600 wheel hub in the front, and a Gas Gas ESF at the rear. 17-inch Excel stainless steel spoked rims was painted with Morad Epoxy satin black paint. The rear wheel is equipped with a crown and a Renthal Galfer disc rear brake system, which comes from a Gas Gas enduro 250 EC. As it should be on a supermotard, the front brake uses a 320mm disc, Nissin 2 piston clamp and radial Nissin master cylinder. Road holding and braking are improved with Continental tires TKC 80 teats. The engine remains stock with the adaptation of a CRF 450 silencer. The centerpiece of this bike is its fiberglass monocoque, with the tank, seat and side panels merged into one piece. The XT Scrambler was finished off with a Aston Martin blue. Other features are:
A black leather seat, luggage rack and a lateral left saddlebag, a removable battery tray, electrical media accessories, Gadget clignos Moto bar ends, retro LSL handlebars, Bud Racing control clutch, supemotard footrests and double-height S3 handlebars Pierre says: "The idea for this Yamaha XT was simple. It had to be nice, simple and unique. For this transformation we wanted to pay tribute to the legendary 125cc Bultaco Lobito. But the tank and the frame was not an easy task. This bike is a joy. It feels like an authentic SuperMoto and is both comfortable and practical. We are very happy with the result" Source freeridemotos.com
