Honda Cobra CL750 Scrambler

.

When you take a look at the standard V-Twin RS750 from Honda, and than you compare it to the creation of Cobra Engineering INC, you cannot say anything else other than: Amazing! Though and built by Denny Berg, chief fabricator at Cobra’s Special Projects Division, this stunning bike is an homage to the CL77 Honda Scrambler 305 from the 1960s. Believe it or not, no major surgery was needed to achieve this level of details and beauty. Builder paid special attention to the twin signature up-pipes with their multi-louvered heat shields. Some massaging was needed (plastic sidepanels were cut , and electrics needed rearranging) in order for everything to fit in it’s place.

Shocks mounts were moved an inch inboard, and new Progressive Suspension #14 was installed. Other than that, and some minor cosmetic details (gas tank received retro seem down the middle, rubber knee grips and “wing” badges) the rest of the bike is stock!

The Scrambler’s seat, padding and upholstery was handled by Kevin Lehan from LeMans Seats. Paint was sprayed by Scott “Chivo” Harrington of Lead Sled Customs.
