Dan Anderson, an Australian industrial design
student, has designed an attractive concept electric motorcycle sport called
Voltra.
This was created for his license and presents a unique minimalist look,
bringing fresh air in design cycles with alternative propulsion systems. An
original detail is the tubular steel that mimic the shape of a tank of
gasoline.
"Voltra is an electric concept expressing visual delight, currently missing
from the motorcycle market with alternative propulsion but is so important to
their attractiveness," said Anderson. "Motorcycle is the result of a complex
research both in history and culture of motorcycling and technology, materials
and manufacturing processes used. Its purpose is to Voltra offer organic
alternatives, the attractiveness needed success, "added the Australian.
The engine concept is powered by Li-Ion batteries, hidden in the monocle of
carbon fiber, developing a torque of 129Nm and respectable would ensure at
least a top speed of 200km / h. Curb Weight is 200 kg and recharging time is
two hours. Autonomy and running time depend on the style of flying, but
Anderson said that the bike should work at least 90 minutes on a single
charge.
