Yamaha XSR700 "X700" Yard Build by The House of Cool
Based in Lisbon Portugal, The House Of Cool was tasked by Yamaha’s Yard Built Program to transform the Yamaha XSR700 into a custom motorcycle. Inspired by Yamaha’s vintage dual-sport models like the TT and XT500, they dubbed the custom build “X700”. The initial body work was 3D printed and sculptured to perfection and then turned over to an aluminum foundry which executed the design. A single-piece aluminum tank and tail unit was manufactured featuring cutouts with mesh inserts based on Yamaha’s iconic speed block theme. The custom exhaust system winds from the front across the right side of the X700, exiting at rearward brushed-aluminum body cutouts in the tail. Other features include a hand-built LED taillight, custom front fender, spoked Kineo wheels, Renthal handle bars, Biltwell grips, a custom gas-cap with THOC cactus logo, bespoke radiator covers and suede MX-style seat.
