Honda CX400 “The Gray Ghost” by Deus Ex Machina

.

Deus Ex Machina based this one-off custom, named the "The Gray Host", on a Honda CX400, to commemorate the opening of their new store in Tokyo’s Asakusa district.

Some of the modifications done to the CX400 consist of replacing the dual shocks with a mono-shock at the rear and USD inverted forks at the front.  The CX now stands taller on its 19F/18R Comstars, which have been given a two-tone finish and wrapped in knobby tires.

Mounted high on the right side a custom dual exhaust system was fitted.

A white diamond-stitched seat was added and a mini rear luggage rack shrouding a bobbed rear fender.  The bodywork of the CX400 was slimmed down and the fuel tank was fully customized.

'The Gray Ghost',  referring to a low flying yellow-eyed bird of prey, the Northern Harrier, was inspired by the custom dual-bulb asymmetrical headlight setup with wing-inspired covers and yellow lenses.
