Honda Grom 50 Scrambler Concepts

.
Honda surfaced several photos of their all-new Grom concepts touted Grom 50 Scrambler. We're looking at the same platform but offered in two flavor appealing to different types of Scrambler lovers.

Grom 50 Scrambler Concept

Grom 50 Scrambler Concept-One arrives in a silver livery, with gold-anodized fork tubes, rubber tank pads and fancy bar-end mirrors. A flyscreen bears the racing number 3, which can be also seen on the side panels.

This version shares the same knobbies with Concept-Two, and they seem to be at least decent on both tarmac and gravel, making the Grom 50 a true all-rounder. We could not miss the cafe-racer-style ribbed seat with a rear hump, a very nice styling touch for such a cute bike.

For some reason, Concept-Two instantaneously brought the Moto Guzzi Griso to mind, most likely because of the tan leather seat and the army green paint on the tank and matte black for the rest. We fell in love with such a Griso and Concept-Two is a nice reminder for it.

Unlike the more classic Concept-One, the second Grom 50 Scrambler plays a modern tune, with traditional mirrors, a more aggressive headlight, no bikini fairing and a more prominent air intake. At the same time, the instrumentation is more futuristic.

We love the new instrumentation Honda shows with these two bikes. Even though the house of Tokyo's message speaks about the futuristic approach to this particular matter, the clusters used for the two Grom 50 machines manage to blend in enough classic DNA to make them look good from any perspective. And they are also color, a feature that should have become an industry standard, already.
