Honda CB-F Concept
Honda has made its world premiere of the concept model CB-F Concept, which was scheduled to be exhibited at the 36th Osaka Motorcycle Show 2020 and the 47th Tokyo Motorcycle Show. These shows were cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Honda found a solution for this situation and launched a website, Honda Virtual Motorcycle Show, to showcase its latest motorcycles and concepts. The CB-F Concept engine is powered with the same engine as the CB1000R, a 998cc, water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, in-line 4-cylinder engine running the power through a six-speed transmission and the engine eases through its rev-range and provides ample torque.
The frame uses a lightweight, high-tensile steel mono backbone. The undercarriage features an inverted fork at the front that provides excellent road comfort, providing a high-quality ride, and a lightweight aluminum cantilever swingarm proarm at the rear. The engine gets a visual restyling as it transitions from Honda’s Neo-Sports Café theme to a 1980s superbike design Honda’s official dimensions for the CB-F is: Length 2,120mm × Width 790 mm × Height 1,070 mm.
