Honda CBF190X Fight Hawk
Honda unveiled a new small-capacity adventure bike at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition in Chongqing. The Honda CBF190X is powered by a 184 cc SOHC air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 15 hp at 11,000 rpm and 15 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission. It weighs 148 kg, putting it 8 kg lighter than the CBF190R. In the styling department, the CBF190X looks to have got it right, featuring an extended beak and extended rear grab-rails that look ready to mount panniers. The motorcycle features single hydraulic discs front and rear, and is placed on alloy wheels, with a golden finish. Called the 'Fight Hawk' as is evident from the decals, the CBF190X seems to be targeted at the premium commuter segment with some 'adventure' styling bits thrown in, rather than being a serious tourer. That said, the CBF190X looks inspired from larger capacity sports-tourers and will certainly find fans in the mass market segments.
