Honda launched the 2021 CBR250RR super sports model with improved power, added equipment and four new colour choices.

In terms of design, no changes have been done to the 2021 model.

Packed with more power, the water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, in-line 2-cylinder 249cc engine of the new Honda 250cc sports bike now produces 41hp @ 13,000rpm and 25Nm of torque @ 11,000rpm.

To produce more power, Honda has made several modifications like newly designed pistons, there is a tin plating on the piston rings, the connecting rods have been carburised, and the ignition timing has been altered. Honda has also optimised the intake system as well as changed the internal structure of the muffler. The ECU has been remapped.

The 6-speed transmission is mated with a ‘Slip-and-assist clutch’ which comes as standard while the quick shifter (bi-directional) is optional.

Its truss-frame chassis supports 37mm USD forks at the front and a Pro-Link 5-step preload-adjustable rear monoshock suspension. Braking duties are carried out by 310mm and 240mm single petal discs at the front and rear, respectively, with dual-channel ABS.

The weight of 2021 CBR250RR has also gone up by 1kg from the previous model and now weighs 168kg.

Other features include Ride-by-Wire throttle, Selectable Riding Modes (Sport, Sport+, Comfort), LCD meter display and all-round LED lights.

Coloring is available in four colors: Grand Prix Red (striped), Matt Gun Powder Black Metallic, Pearl Glare White, and Grand Prix Red.
