Honda NX-4
Honda NX-4 has a single cylinder four-stroke engine, one camshaft derived from the enduro XR 400, with four valves in radial arrangement (RFVC), witjh a claimed maximum power of 30.6 hp (22.82 kW) at 6,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 3.51 Kg-fm (34.41 Nm) at 6,000 rpm. It has a double box and bar cradle front suspension with a wheel travel of 220 mm and at the rear a Pro-Link suspension with 195 mm wheel travel. It has disc brakes on both wheels. It is equipped with a five-speed transmission and an electric starter, and is chain driven. Wheels are 21" in the front and 17" at the rear and shod with Pirelli MT-60. Its dry weight is about 151 kg. It has a fuel tank of 15.0 liters, 4.0 liters reserve. This gives a range of about 300 km, consuming 20 km / L in the city.
In 2008 Honda Brazil stopped production of the NX-4, due to the strict limitations imposed on emissions in Brazil. It was replaced by the Honda XRE 300. In 2012 production was resumed, and the model was named the Honda NX-400i Falcon, which came with an electronic fuel injection system, which complied with the imposed emissions limits. With the change to the injection system, the engine lost about 2 horsepower, from 30.6hp to 28.7hp at 6,500 rpm. The torque decreased slightly from 3.51 kg-fm to 3.27 kg-fm at 6,000 rpm. In Mexico and Argentina the NX-4 was still available in the carburetor version.
