Honda SL 230
This Honda SL230 dirt bike is an upgrade option for a Honda XL. The bike was made with low seat height, the futuristic styling and the low noise level. This is the only trail bike whose exhaust noise level comes close to the EU standard of 80dB for machines over 175cc. The figure quoted by Honda is 81dB. The good things about Honda SL230 is not only good for short riders (1.6m – 1.8m). The bike delivers 20HP, have two disc brakes and is in fact a lower XR250 that was designed for less experienced riders. Still, there are something that makes this bike not as good as a Honda XR250. The suspension is crude, the seat forces the rider into an uncomfortable position, especially if you are from 1.7m. This model was discontinued in late 2013.
