Honda XL 500V Transalp Prototype

In 1985 Honda engineers began to design the first prototype of the Transalp, which was the forerunner of the XL600V Transalp launched in 1987. The first prototype Transalp still had an upper front fender and no fairing, very similar to the XLV750 and XL600. The VT500 500cc engine was used for the prototype.
