Indian Scout Bobber
Indian Motorcycle has introduced the new Indian Scout Bobber to its line-up. Featuring the Scout’s 100 horsepower, the same 1131cc/69-cu inch, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, V-Twin, the Bobber gets several changes, which the company calls a 'stripped-down version.'. International Product Manager Ben Lindaman said: “We have introduced Scout Bobber to bring some edge to Indian. Many Scout riders have already been bobbing their bikes to give them an aggressive and raw look. Scout Bobber is inspired by those owners and this new model will offer a great platform for even more personalisation." Slammed stance, chopped front and rear fenders, knobby tyres, street tracker handlebar and blacked-out finish and stripped down, The Bobber is no frills, all altitude.
The handlebar further features bar-end mirrors and there is a new badge, perhaps the biggest cosmetic change is the logo on the tank with bold block letters. Unique front and rear fenders are shortened, as is suspension travel at the rear (down from 3 inches to 2 inches). The ergonomics differ from the Scout with the foot pegs moved back an inch and a half and a unique handlebar an inch and a half closer to the rider. The Indian Scout Bobber gets a low-slung, brown leather seat. The alloy wheels are also new and the slotted black exhaust pipes maintain the aggressive detailing to its core. The bike features headlight nacelle like the standard Scout. There is a side mounted rear license plate for an uninterrupted rear profile. In fact, there is no additional tail lamp on the bike as the rear turn indicators take the multitasking. Braking duties are handled by a 298mm disc brake at the rear and a 298mm unit up front. The single-pod instrument cluster features an analog speedometer along with an LCD screen for tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temp and low fuel indicator. The new Indian Scout Bobber further comes with a list of optional accessories, such as a pillion seat, slip-on exhausts and saddle bags. Four color options are available.
ACCESSORIES PERFORMANCE These street performance shocks optimize the bike’s ride and handling and are easily adjustable to ensure riders can fine-tune the preload and rebound characteristics. HANDLEBARS
