NCR-848 motor has titanium connecting rods carved out of billet, high compression forged pistons with single piston ring, titanium valves, ported heads, lightened gearbox, balanced crankshaft, custom wet-type slipper clutch by STM for NCR, full racing aluminum radiator and oil cooler - relocated to accept full range of offsets of the front suspension, all fasteners in titanium.

Special Parts

Adjustable rear sets in AL 7075 and titanium, gas cap assembly in AL 7075, clip-ons in AL 7075 with titanium tubes, fork bottoms in billet aluminum, triple clamps from AL 7075 with adjustable offset from 28 to 36 mm, steering damper with billet mount, custom wheel nuts, billet oil fill cover, rear subframe in aluminum, front fairing stay in aluminum. All parts developed and produced by NCR.

For those who aren’t happy with their stock Ducati 848’s performance, Nepoti and Caracchi Racing (NCR) are now offering some special parts which will boost power, performance and handling. These include titanium valves, titanium con-rods, Showa USD fork with heavily reworked internals, fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock, 300mm brakes discs (at the front) with Brembo monoblock calipers and an all-new engine management system.

A stock Ducati 848 weighs 168kg, and has 134bhp on tap. The full-blown NCR Ducati 848 weighs in at 155 kilos dry, and packs 145bhp at 12,500rpm and 118Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. Of course, at around US$61,000 it’s also a bit more expensive…

The NCR 848 is the result of a collaboration Ducati North America.
This year, NCR was the official factory team of Dcati North America to compete in the PARTS CANADA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP in the THUNDER Class.
The team had two NCR 848's that were developed specifically to develop the full catalog of parts for this exciting new bike.

The bikes were ridden by NCR Factory rider Valter Bartolini and Canadian Andrew Nelson. Between the two riders, they won all 7 rounds of the championship including all 7 pole positions and all new track records at every track (4 wins for Valter and 3 wins for
