Part classic,
part scrambler, This is Oberdan Bezzi's
interesting interpretation of the Yamaha MT-07.
If you are
looking for a modern motorcycle, the Dirtiest Sons may not be your thing.
However, those in search of a bike that blends in present-day technology
cleverly disguised in neo-retro looks will be thrilled.
It's impossible to miss the oval fuel tank that's such a strong reminder of the
iconic Yamaha SR400. Its only drawback is that it may prove a little to small
for longer runs before needing a refill, but it is definitely perfect for an
afternoon ride.
The front end of the MT-07 was overhauled completely and sent back in time, with
the addition of a small round, retro Bates-ish headlight. Some may say that the
tall front fender is not the best complement for it, but this seems to be the
design language of the new scrambler bikes.
Oberdan Bezzi added wire-spoked wheels and dual-sport tires, a mandatory aspect
of the build, and multiple other bolt-on parts can add further personalization
options. Bezzi took the liberty to deliver these initial designs in the classic
Yamaha yellow livery with the speed blocks, plus two additional liveries, but
the possibilities are infinite.
