Roland Sands Design Indian “Track Chief”

Motorcycle tuner Roland Sands Design premieres its custom Indian bike dubbed the “Track Chief.” Inspired by drag bikes, RSD opted for a board tracker silhouette, adding the single-sided element and all its detailing, whilst retaining the spirit of the tank shape, girder fork and frame. In removing any unnecessary parts, the bike’s weight was cut in half with upgrades that include a new wiring system where 90% of the connectors were removed for a thin, purpose-built loom, an internal twist throttle, a remotely located fly-by-wire throttle housing behind the front number plate, a titanium exhaust, a titanium tank and much more. “Part board tracker, part dragster and part cafe racer, this single-sided rigid mash up is as much about the art of the machine as the function.”
