Bimota Suzuki 750
It was no easy task to create something really new in motorcycles in 1977. All the unconventional schemes tested by various private individuals and by companies as well had been regularly rejected by the public and by the tracks. The Bimota company, however, based its commercial and racing success on the originality and efficacy of its designs. Late in 1976, a few months after the new four-cylinder Suzuki 750 production model appeared, the Bimota company was commissioned to give the Suzuki a special look. Bimota rose to the occasion and developed a unique motorcycle. The chassis was constructed of tubes that could be separated to remove the engine. The four exhaust tubes passed through two mufflers and over the engine, and they were enclosed in a plastic housing that also included the saddle. To lower the center of gravity, the twenty-four-liter fuel tank was housed under the engine. The Bimota-Suzuki 750 was a great success when it was presented at the Bologna Motor Show. Manufactured in small quantities, it was designed for derived-model racing and for the Coupe d'Endurance. Motorcycle: Bimota-Suzuki 750 Manufacturer: Bimota s.n.c,
Rimini Type: Series model racing and Coupe
