The 2015 MotoGP machines that would be ridden by riders Dani Pedrosa and 2014 MotoGP champion Marc Marquez. As Marquez and Pedrosa unveiled the 2015 RC213V machines, they revealed the new graphics and branding from energy drink maker Red Bull, which has increased its sponsorship for year 2015.

241 horsepower for the 2015 RC213V
Honda has also revealed some of the tech specs for the 2015 iteration of the RC213V, but since we’re talking super-secret multi-million technologies at play in an attempt to win the championship, you’ve probably figured that the description is merely scratching the surface.

However, you’ll be thrilled to learn that these bikes are good for more than 241 horsepower (180 kW) of which around 235 can be found at the rear wheel during strong peak-rpm accelerations. These immense amounts of power come from the 4-stroke, liquid-cooled 1,000cc V4 engine which proved more economical and powerful than the RC212V unit after 2,000 km (1,243 miles) of durability tests. Each rider will have 5 engines at his disposal for the 2015 season.

Finally, the Brembo brakes you can see in the photos have carbon rotors, and their peak performance is reached when they are getting hot. The temperature can reach 400 Celsius (~750 F). However, in wet races, as they cannot retain the heat, mechanics will replace them with steel brake discs provided by Yutaka.
