The Harada RS125 features a dynamic number #31 colour scheme based on Japanese star Tetsuya Harada's motorcycle in the world motorcycle championship.

The 1993 world champion has 14 grand prix victories to his name, including eight with Aprilia in the 250cc class.

Thirty-year-old Harada has spearheaded Aprilia's challenge in the highly competitive 500cc class since 1999 against riders such as Australia's Mick Doohan and Alex Criville.

The Harada version makes use of all the dynamic features of the RS125 with the addition of the colour scheme.

Aprilia, based in Noale near Venice, has won five world 250cc championships in the last six years and claimed two of the last three world 125cc championships.

"The experience gained on circuits throughout the world has been transferred into a machine that comes from Aprilia's world championship victories," said Aprilia national manager George Katrivesis.

He said the Harada 125's aluminium frame was created for the racing scene and adopted to provide increased manoeuvrability.

The RS125 engine's strongest advantages are its consistently progressive output and superior carburetion.
