Aprilia Scarabeo 300s
The Aprilia Scarabeo 300s is an agile scooter designed with efficiency and simplicity in mind. Its dynamic style underlines its practical character and every detail received maximum attention from Aprilia’s designers. The scooter is propelled by a single cylinder, four stroke engine with a displacement of 278.30 ccm (16.98 cubic inches). In terms of power, the engine puts out 16.40 HP (12.0 kW) at 7500 RPM and 22.00 Nm (16.2 ft.lbs) of torque at 6500 RPM. All this power is kept under control by an automatic gearbox. It is also worthy of being mentioned that the engine is fed by a pretty generous 10 liters fuel tank. To reward its rider with a comfortable riding experience, the Aprilia Scarabeo 300s is equipped with a hydraulic fork up front and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The stopping power is handled by front and rear single disc brakes. Scarabeo’s harmonious shape, simple flowing lines, and reassuringly smooth surfaces are so unmistakable that there is almost no need to apply the Aprilia name to it. Scarabeo’s superior finish, and the refinement of every last detail are instantly recognisable at first glance or feel.
