The development of this wolf in disguise started though the wish so combine the comfort of a all road motorcycle with the speed of a supersport. After 900 hours of engineering and constructing the Bakker Grizzly All-Round was a fact.

A comfortable touring motorcycle suitable to hit the dirt once and a wile, but mainly to make long road trips. This globe trotter is able to roam the world with passengers and luggage. The motorcycle developed based on a reliable GXS-R 1000 engine, but can be equipped with a engine of your choice. Like the Bakker tradition this bike is completely build to the wishes of the individual customer.

The points to focus on for Nico Bakker at the development of the Grizzly All-round was:

  • As light and compact as possible constructed motorcycle, to ensure an optimal handling.
  • Sturdy enough to withstand a small crash.
  • Sportive characteristics with accompanying power to handle on- as well as off-road conditions.
  • A wide power and torque curve to show in the diverse applications of the bike a smooth driving behaviour.

The motorcycle uses a tuned GSX-R1000 engine in a hand built frame. The engine develops a whopping 180bhp, and with the bike weighing 190kg it's enough to propel it to a top speed of 161mph.
