Benelli BN 302
The Benelli BN 302 is a versatile motorcycle created for those who are looking for a daily commuter, but who is also capable of occasional weekend getaways. At the heart of the Benelli BN 302 sits a 300 cc, in line 2 cylinders, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine with 4 valves per cylinder and double overhead camshaft. The engine is mated on a six speed transmission with wet clutch and is fueled by a 16 liter fuel tank with 3 liter reserve. The stopping power is handled by ø 260 mm floating discs with a 4 piston caliper brake at the front and a single ø 240 mm disc with a double piston caliper brake for the rear. Other notable features include Electronic Fuel Injection, exhaust with two catalytic converters and two oxygen sensors, steel trestle frame and a rear swing arm with lateral shock absorber. The BN 302s inspiring agility is due to improved technology in the design of its rigid steel trestle frame and suspension setup. Up front the bike has ø 41 mm USD forks and on the rear swing arm, a lateral shock absorber soaks up the bumps with adjustable preload. For maximum braking performance the BN 302 uses twin ø 260 mm floating discs with a 4 piston caliper brake at the front and a single ø 240 mm disc with a double piston caliper brake for the rear.
