CCM, based in the north of England, was originally a competition off-road manufacturer, until it turned its hand to leisure-based machines in 1998. It builds a range of off-road, enduro and Supermoto bikes, based around a Rotax-built single-cylinder engine. The 604e Dual Sport is a road-legal enduro machine, which is equally at home on or off road, its high-quality, long travel WP suspension giving superb damping and feedback. Though long in the tooth, the engine is still capable of exhilirating acceleration and strong low-down grunt, especially matched with the tiny all-up weight of the 604. Many riders fit the factory-option 43cm (17in) road wheels and tyres, turning the 604 into a full-bore, continental-style Supermoto.
