CCM Spitfire Blackout
Based on the critically acclaimed Spitfire platform, this bike was selected for a starring role from a shortlist of impressive competition on looks alone. The new CCM Blackout celebrates the Spitfire’s starring role in Marvel’s upcoming Black Widow movie. The cream of motorcycle stunt coordinators put the machine to the test and they were wowed by its ability to perform the wide range of manoeuvres required for the greatest of all movie franchises.
The engine used in the Spitfire Blackout remains the same basic 600cc single found in the rest of the range. The original Spitfire Scrambler’s steel trellis chassis was used, however there’s now a new handmade slash cut exhaust system mounted high on the right hand side for greater ground clearance.
There’s also a new performance map, to help add some more flexibility to the engine and inject extra torque. Some teeth were removed from the rear sprocket to allow for a more relaxed cruising speed, and is running on a 19 inch front and a 17 inch rear spoked wheels. CCM also modified the suspension, altering the spring and damping settings at the front and rear.
The special Blackout Edition receives an exclusive hand-painted “Blackout” colour scheme adding a deep metallic black finish, grey panels, red details, a carbon fiber headlight cowl, black powder-coated steel trellis frame, and a dark grey micro suede dual saddle.
