From a press release issued by Ducati:

Ducati has unveiled two new proposals for the Ducati Scrambler family to the public. The Icon Dark, the most essential and modern model in the range, is designed for those who love the purest essence of the Ducati Scrambler and for those looking for a bike with clean lines and a lot of character.

The Full Throttle is updated in colour, with a livery that accentuates its post-heritage charm, harking back to the colours of racing vehicles from the 1970s.

The Icon Dark is the model that expresses the purest essence of Ducati Scrambler. A bike that eliminates the superfluous through its dark black looks, combining the minimal elegance of the second generation of Ducati Scrambler with the fun, light-hearted and free spirit of the Land of Joy, of which it represents the gateway model.

The essential and pure design enhances the timeless charm of the Dark liveries of Borgo Panigale bikes. A bike that encourages you to express your personality even more, ready to interpret the tastes and needs of each enthusiast using its livery to play with the customization possibilities that have always been a fundamental pillar of the Ducati Scrambler world.

The iconic teardrop tank, the distinctive element of Scrambler, in its total black livery creates a play of shades between the different materials, taken up by other details such as the front mudguard and the conveyors. The Ducati Scrambler logo on the Dark Stealth tank is more modern and in line with the aggressiveness of the matt black. The essential side panels and sporty tail fairing make the Dark line even lighter and sleeker.

Timeless Black Style
The Icon Dark embraces minimalism with a bold, all-black design. From the matte black painted fuel tank to the black-painted plastics on the mudguard, fuel tank cover, and headlight covers, every element exudes understated elegance.

Lightweight & Nimble
Designed for easy handling, the Icon Dark boasts a lightweight chassis and engine, making it agile and responsive in any riding condition. The Nightshift/Full Throttle tail, anodized handlebar clamp, and full black timing belt covers enhance its stripped-down aesthetic, keeping it light yet robust.

Modern Tech

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a 4.3” TFT display, Ride-by-Wire, and modern rider aids, the Icon Dark ensures a smooth, safe, and connected ride. The X-Shaped DRL and full LED lighting system provide excellent visibility, adding a touch of modernity to its classic design.

Handling
Built for agility, the Icon Dark features a lightweight chassis and engine, making it incredibly easy to handle, even for less experienced riders. Its geometry and low center of gravity ensure excellent maneuverability, whether you’re navigating city streets or winding roads.

The flat seat 795 mm high, offers comfort for both rider and passenger and makes the bike handy for everyone. The sporty tail and anodized handlebar clamp further contribute to a comfortable riding position, providing control and ease for everyday riding or longer journeys.

Electronics
The New Scrambler Ducati Icon Dark is equipped with an advanced rider aid suite designed to enhance both performance and rider experience. It features a 4.3” TFT display that provides clear, easy-to-read information and integrates seamlessly with the bike’s Ride-by-Wire system, offering smooth throttle control. Additionally, the motorcycle includes 2 Riding Modes (Road and Sport), tailored to different riding styles.

The Icon Dark is also Ducati Multimedia System-ready, enabling phone connectivity for managing apps directly from the handlebar controls by installing the Ducati Performance device and connecting it to the Ducati LinkApp. Engine updates allow the bike to support the Quick Shift Up/Down as an accessory, enhancing riding comfort with clutchless gear changes. The X-Shaped DRL and full LED lighting system not only add a modern aesthetic but also improve visibility, ensuring better safety in low-light conditions.
