Ducati 1199S Panigale Japanese Edtion

At first this news was almost unbelievable, so we thought it was a hoax or an April fool's joke. the official version is that the Panigale is too loud for Japanese roads. So they will put an extra long, and if we might add an extra ugly muffler on the “J” version, and they will cover the “noisy” clutch as much as possible.

Although these changes will have dramatically disfigured appearance, this revised version of 1199 Panigale has finally been approved to be sold in the country of the Rising Sun.

The new exhaust system will add an extra weight of 4 kg to 164 kg, and that has prompted a new mapping developed specifically for Japan. Certainly the Japanese version of Panigale is uglier and heavier, but not to miss anything even the power was limited to only 135 hp compared to 195.
