Horex THE LEGENDARY REGINA

1950, for the first time, a motorcycle was given a woman's name instead of a purely functional designation and even today, motorcycle enthusiasts associate the HOREX tradition above all with the "Regina". Pioneering design, outstanding chrome finish and special paintwork, state-of-the-art technology and reliability made the model a bestseller as early as 1952 (over 20,000 units). A total of around 83,000 machines are built, at times one example left the factory every seven minutes. From 2023 the 'heart' of the Regina Evo is a modern 600cc engine with water cooling, fuel injection, four valves, two overhead camshafts and a six-speed gearbox. The exhaust is stainless steel and the carburetion is Euro 5 compliant, with a rated output of 48 hp (35 kW), just the right amount for the European category A2 driving licence.
