We knew Horex were about to be revived after filing for bankruptcy as their fellow-countrymen 3C Carbon Group had stepped in and promised to do their best to prevent the German bike heritage from going extinct.

3C Carbon said from the start that they plan to make some aesthetic changes to the VR6 machine, and renderings that surfaced subsequently showed the new direction. However, the new VR6 roadster also got solid upgrades in the technical department.Technical upgrades make the new VR6 a more menacing roadster
The 6-cylinder engine now produces a whopping 170 horsepower and 138 Nm (101.7 lb-ft) of torque, while the suspensions were upgraded to premium Ohlins units. The 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down fork is complemented by a racing-grade Ohlins TTX36GP rear monoshock.

In the brakes department, Horex designed custom radial mounts for the dual Brembo CNC P4 4-pot calipers squeezing two 320mm rotors, and loaded a 264mm rotor in the back, too. ABS is, of course, standard, as well as the LED headlight, tail light and blinkers.
