Kawasaki has announced a new special edition iteration of the Ninja 400 exclusive only to Japan, called the Ninja 400 Limited Edition.

The new limited edition version doesn’t stray too far away from the standard Ninja 400 sportsbike.
It gets a dark grey main colour with black, carbon-effect decals on various bits of the fairing and tank, plus that all-important gold pinstripe with matching wheels, brakes and rear shock mount.

Only 300 such motorcycles will be manufactured and become available in Japan. The Ninja 400 has a shorter-stroke ER-6 parallel twin mill with a (now) 399cc displacement results in a peak power of 43 hp at 9,500 rpm and a max torque of 37Nm (27.2 lb-ft) at 7,500 revs. The 6-speed transmission was retained and ABS is stock on the Limited Edition version.
