The KTM RC250 looks largely identical to it's bigger sibling the KTM RC 390.  It will share most of its features and specifications from the Duke 250. Similar to the Duke 250, the RC 250cc model will be positioned between the RC 200 and RC 390.

It is powered by the same 248.8cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection. The RC250 engine gets a shorter bore and stroke as compared to the 373.3cc mill on the Duke & RC 390 and also comes equipped with NiKaSil coating for better combustion & smooth performance.

The power train is good for 32hp of power and 24Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox, and with a slipper clutch as standard. It misses out on ride-by-wire technology, which is currently available in the bigger sibling.
