Moto Guzzi unveiled the 1400 California in the 2011
Piaggio Group international dealers meeting in Monte Carlo.
The new Moto Guzzi California ‘prototype’ is fitted with a 1400cc transverse
90-degree V-twin and Guzzi’s usual shaft drive. The new styling looks good and
the super-sized seat should keep a lot of people very happy on long distance
rides. Guzzi claim that the bike’s wheels, brakes and suspension are all new and
we suppose these would all work better than the items found on the
older-generation California.
