MV Agusta F3 675
After being elected the “World’s Best-Looking 600”, the MV Agusta F3 675 is now ready to lead the pack on both street and track. Featuring the new MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) platform, this Supersport boasts an ultra-advanced chassis and cutting-edge technology on a par with the best litre-class bikes. Nothing less than revolutionary, the MV Agusta F3 675 is a thoroughbred thrill-generator on street or track. The unique 3-cylinder engine – with a counter-rotating crankshaft, a ground-breaking solution previously seen only on MotoGP bikes – and the ultra-compact lightweight layout are just two of many qualities that make the new F3 675 a Supersport of unrivalled sophistication – and an incomparable ride. A look at the MV Agusta F3 675 power unit quickly identifies it as the most advanced, powerful mid-weight engine ever built. A tightly compact in-line 3-cylinder with a perfect combination of forward-thinking mechanical engineering, extremely advanced materials and futuristic electronics. The MVICS system makes it the first mid-weight motorcycle to feature Full Ride By Wire control and, as a result, 4 engine maps (one of which can be customised) and 8-level traction control. The chassis is a gem too: designed and developed to maximise dynamic performance, it offers optimum rigidity, giving a ‘feel’ that is, under all riding conditions, in a class of its own compared to other motorcycles in this category. MV Agusta F3 675 styling development has remained faithful to the philosophy that has characterized all previous MVs: a perfect balance of form and function that merge to create a bike unique not only for its panache but also for its astounding performance.
Exceeding your dreams. The new frontier of the supersport category by the numbers: 128 hp at peak power and a maximum engine speed of 15,000 rpm. The fully electronic engine management system utilizes a full Ride-by-Wire throttle control, unique technology to the supersport class. The frame is unmistakably MV Agusta: steel and aluminum are combined to achieve perfection. Pure driving pleasure coupled with exhilarating performance: the tubular steel trellis frame coupled to the cast aluminum side plates offers the maximum in handling efficiency. The dynamics are further enhanced by the incredibly short 1,380 mm wheelbase. As is the norm with MV Agusta, the rear swing arm is single sided and is coupled with Marzocchi forks and a Sachs shock absorber together with Brembo radial calipers work together with Bosch 9 ABS Plus equipped with Race Mode. Every single component is considered an essential part of the project. MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System): fully electronic engine and traction control, the most advanced in the world n a motorcycle in this category. The Ride-by-Wire throttle is connected to three 50 mm diameter throttle bodies and two fuel injectors per cylinder, another record for the 675 F3. The ECU offers the opportunity to choose between 4 engine maps, three standard and one custom. This adjustability has been engineered to get the optimum performance in all driving conditions from the only three-cylinder engine utilizing a counter-rotating crankshaft, a solution that until now has only been used in MotoGP. Low centralisation of weight and centre of gravity: project goals that become reality thanks to choices such as the fuel tank placed partially under the seat. And which translate into absolute riding pleasure, immediate and simple, yet extreme. The result of uncompromising choices such as the titanium intake and exhaust valves. In this case the F3 675 is once again the only bike in its segment to offer maxi supersport equipment, which includes the extremely quick electronic EAS transmission as standard equipment as well as a slipper clutch.F3 675, the new frontier.
Three cylinders. Pure supersport. The MV Agusta F3 675 is the new benchmark in its class. It is three times unique with: innovative electronics, revolutionary engine and a superior chassis. Compact, light weight and powerful. Essential and refined. Beautiful and effective both on the road and track. Four personalized engine management maps and eight levels of traction control: the most advanced MV Agusta ever. AVAILABLE IN COLORS •RED / AGO SILVER Engine The superb in-line 675 cc three-cylinder power unit on the new F3 pays homage to the world’s most victorious motorcycle brand. It is with this architecture, in fact, that MV has competed in and won an unprecedented number of races and world championships. Today the 3-cylinder engine is back in a Supersport guise to offer up first-class technical solutions and peak performance. This compact engine is incredibly short and narrow, an astonishing result achieved by assembling the internal components as only MV knows how. With a 79 mm bore and super-short 45.9 mm stroke, the MV Agusta 3-cylinder engine has an extreme over-square ratio that lets it achieve incredible rev levels. Ultra-advanced, it can put out 128 hp at 14,500 rpm and provide 71 Nm of torque at 10,600 rpm. Thanks also to its 15,000 rpm rev limiter, this performance level – a first in this category – is on a par with that of a number of 4-cylinder engines. And talking of ‘firsts’, this production motorcycle also features a counter-rotating crankshaft, thus honing dynamic balance to perfection and enhancing the lightning-fast handling. Compact, light and top-of-the-category performance: these are the characteristics that make the new MV Agusta F3 675 engine the dream to chase in the Supersport class, an engine set to become the new supersport benchmark. Major contributions to lightness and compactness have come from closed-deck integration of cylinders in the crankcase, achieved via a single shell-casting, the MVICS platform and the use of titanium for both the intake and exhaust valves. Another unique feature is integration of the oil and water circuits: the oil/water pump system and all relative flow routing is located inside the engine, ensuring the most powerful Italian 3-cylinder ever also boasts a clean, alluring outline.
Electronics The most advanced electronic control system ever seen on a Supersport plays, of course, a key role in the extraordinary performance of this new 3-cylinder bike. A highly sophisticated fuel injection system features two injectors per cylinder, which feed three throttle bodies with a record 50 mm diameter. The F3 675 also sees the MVICS system make its debut in this category, letting the engine unleash record levels of power and control whatever the riding conditions. All you have to do is select one of the 4 available maps, one of which can be customised to tailor power delivery just the way you like it. The MVICS system also allows implementation of incredibly advanced 8-level traction control, managed with ease via the dashboard interface. Chassis MV Agusta riders have always known they can count on the very
best components and outstanding chassis performance. The new F3 675 is no
exception to that rule and offers quality-based excellence that puts plenty of
1000 cc superbikes in the shade. As you’d expect from an MV, components are of the highest quality. The Marzocchi 43mm front fork is fully adjustable as is the Sachs monoshock with separate nitrogen reservoir. The braking system is the best the market can offer: Nissin radial master cylinder, Brembo radial calipers and 320 mm discs are coupled with ultra-light wheels to reduce unsprung mass even further and so give the F3 675 heaven-sent handling performance.
