Norton has revealed their lightweight, high-performance Superlight V-twin, a downsized version of the V4 superbike.   The Superlight is a 650cc producing 105hp and only tipping the scales at 158kg/348lbs which is achieved by using a twin tube chassis, an engine which acts as a structural member for addede stability, and full carbon fibre aero bodywork.  The MotoGP underseat 18-liter gas tank is made of carbon fiber as well complete with Kevlar reinforcements.

A full titanium race exhaust will be available as an optional extra, which saves 6kg and adds an additional 6bhp of power, for racing purposes.

The Superlight also receives a set of Öhlins fully adjustable suspension at the front and back with Brembo disks, calipers, and master cylinder. It also features three riding modes, quick shift system, as well as traction, launch, and wheelie control.
