The DR125S was concidered as a teriffic all-round enduro bike for beginners in 1982. It was rather small and light compared to may of its contestors but its suspension was firm enough for even larger riders. It had a smooth and tough engine, not very powerful but the high quality of the clutch and the gearbox (six speeds) helped a lot. There didn't seem to be nothing wrong with the new four-stroker. Except for one thing; the rear light got broken easily — kicked by the owner when swinging his leg over the saddle...
