Suzuki Motorcycles has unveiled the lightest and most affordable offering in the GSX-R portfolio – the Suzuki GSX R-125 – at the 2016 INTERMOT in Cologne, Germany.

The new GSX R-125’s styling is influenced by the aggressive and sharp design of more powerful bikes in the GSX-R portfolio. It features a single LED headlight, full LCD instrument display and keyless ignition with the Suzuki Easy-start system sourced from the new GSX-R1000.

Suzuki is marketing the GSX-R 125 as a revolution in the lightweight class of motorcycles. The sporty lines and sharp details of the motorcycle will appeal to the youngsters especially the LED headlight. The bike features an all-digital instrument cluster similar to the Gixxer and gets LED tail lamps and convention exhaust muffler.

The new Suzuki GSX-R 125 has keyless entry and the “answer-back function” helps the rider in locating the bike as the indicators start flashing when he presses the button the key.

The bike features petal disc brake at front and also gets ABS. The new Suzuki GSX-R 125 will rival the likes of the KTM RC 125 and the Yamaha YZF-R125 in the European market.
