The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition uses the same 249 cc oil-cooled motor as the standard model.

Bringing race colours to its newest offering, Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition.

The bike comes with the new racing blue paint scheme with Team Suzuki Ecstar decals and pinstripes on the wheel, all of which are inspired from the race-spec 2019 Suzuki GSX-RR that competes in the premier class championship.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 - Race Bike

At the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam, Coimbatore, Suzuki unveiled Gixxer SF 250 race bike, which is based on the MotoGP edition.

The race bike has been specifically designed to compete in the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 One Make Championship.

The key engine specifications, ECU and the gear ratios remain the same as on the standard bike.

The new free-flow exhaust system on the race bike reduced the weight by 5kg, and a further 15kg has been shed by by the removal of the headlight, rearview mirrors, saree guard, rear fender, and the turn signals.

ABS was removed, as well as making use of braided brake lines that reduces brake fade. Metzeler Sportec M7 tyres was fitted to the race bike for a stronger grip on track.
